Monitoring or supervision of assets is relevant for non-profit organisations, foundations, or in general any kind of organisation entrusted with sizeable financial assets, but that does not have time or resources to monitor them closely.

This could also apply to families that own a range of securities accounts, unlisted assets (private equity, private debt, real estate) and family shares.
